67: This Is My Worry

‘Just Give Me A Reason’ by Pink ft. Nate Ruess

Abraham, the son of Mother Mary, The Creator Of All, lives a relatively normal life, complete with a longtime relationship.

She does not see all that Abraham sees. She does not see the state of the world that haunts him. And he doesn’t want her to see it. But he can’t stop himself from talking in his sleep. Words like “had enough”slip out. So his girlfriend hears his vague ramblings and thinks it’s about their relationship being broken.

One day she confronts him with her suspicions. Telling him, how she loved him from the start and how he fixed all the wrong things about her. She tells him, that they’re not broken and can back their relationship back on track. They just have to work on it – and they should, because they are meant to be together.

She just needs to know why he feels this way.

Abraham doesn’t want to tell her, what is actually bothering him. Instead, he pretends to not understand what she is talking about, saying it’s all in her mind and due to her recent nightmares. He tells her, how dear she still is to him.

She doesn’t buy it easily and keeps insisting that it’s in fact happening.

He is not as convincing as his inspiring mother, so they end the discussion on agreeing to work on their relationship.

62: The end (and what’s new in 2017)

‘Need You Now’ by Lady Antebellum

While Dre fell head-first in love with Pink solely based on her helpless, his big declaration does not have the same effect on her.

But Dre and Slim help her lie down. She is at her last hour now – and her mind flashes back to Brad, the husband she left after she found out that he had been keeping big, horrible secrets from her.Memories scatter trough her mind, as it has many times before. She reaches out for him in her mind. She wonders if he still thinks of her, many years later. Now she needs him to be there and help her heal.

Brad, still looking for Pink, after she faked her own death and disappeared, is sitting in a rented room drinking, missing her. He wishes she would come sweeping in like she did when they were together.

Both are in pain. But both also realise that at least it means their relationship actually mattered to them.

NEW IN 2017!

Because the main plot has become, to repeat myself, comic-book-complicated, I’m shifting focus. I’m still in the same universe, but I will find a new main character to develop for the next year (don’t know who yet, depends on the song). I might return to Steven and Pink once in a while, but their story seems pretty final, so probably not (but then again, it wouldn’t be the first time, I killed Pink).

61:When He Finally Heard Her

‘The Way You Make Me Feel’ by Michael Jackson

Pink was ill, weak and near death when she called out for two men on the street, Slim and Dre. After several attempts, Dre finally heard her.

Dre fell for her there and then and told her, how she made him feel.

He saw her in her high heels and her pretty dress. He saw how helpless she was. He no longer felt lonely. He had never felt this in love. She was the one for him and he swore to keep her satisfied.

55:’wherever I go’ by One Republic

(Let me start of by apologizing for the (possibly) weird format. I’m writing this on my phone. I’ll fix it, once I get my computer back)

Brad has decided to go look for Pink, his wife, again, because he can’t move on from her to someone else. Wherever he goes, an image of her, The Young Pink, follows.

Their love isn’t easy and it drives them both mad, but it’s worth it, because of how she makes him feel.

He will work hard to get her back and not like so many others pray for an easy love to fall into their lap.

He’ll tell her all this, when he finds her.

No links this time, because I’m writing on my phone. And it’s more than 25 words. But it’s less detailed than usually. Hope, it still works. For context to this chapter, follow the tags around.

Like, follow, all that, if you like it and want to. Information in the menu.

54: ‘I Need A Doctor’ by Dr. Dre ft. Eminem and Skylar Grey

This song is explicit and a clean version 1) is not on Dr. Dre’s VEVO 2) would have a lot of bleeps. Therefore my text is also explicit. Most won’t find it too bad, but it might be unfit for a child or people who would rather avoid that kind of language.

Here’s the video, so you can see what I mean. My text is cleaner than that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VA770wpLX-Q

Summary:

Pink is sick and needs help, so she calls out for help by two men walking by.

These men are Dre and Slim. They are musicians. Dre is Slim’s mentor. They are fighting about Dre’s self-doubt in regard to his music and don’t hear Pink.

50: ‘Believe Again’ by Brinck

The doctor refuses to father Pink’s children. Heartbroken, she goes back on medication. They make her melancholic and thinks back to all her previous relationships.

They made it so easy for her to fall in love. She saw a future with them, but they never saw one with her.

She lost herself in every relationship. And when it fell apart, she picked up her broken heart and taped it together, each time a little weaker.

And now she finds herself just wanting to believe in love. Just believe that it could be possible, after failure after failure. She wants to breathe again, to go back to the days, where she innocently believed in love, because she hadn’t actually had any experience with it.

She wonders if it just her, or if everyone eventually loses their hope for love.

She wants to trust and hope again. For without love, what do we become?

46: ‘Turn Me On’ by David Guetta feat. Nicki Minaj

Pink’s mind and body are broken. Love kept her sane and healthy – but now that Grey Eyes is no longer her girlfriend, she once again needs medicine, or else she will die.

So she finds the doctor who once gave her medicine since she can’t exactly explain her situation to a new doctor.

But since that wasn’t enough last time, she needs him to give her love too, in the shape of children.

So she begs for him to save her and make her come alive again.  She assures him, that he can make it right. He has her life in the palm of his hands. She wants him to father the children.
