85: ‘Perfect’ by P!nk

Sara has not had an easy life. Her parents didn’t like her much and that lead her to making bad decisions. Now she’s better and actively inspires young women to be confident.

One of these students needs a little more attention. Even as they others start listening to Sara’s lessons, she still talks herself down. Sara takes her aside for a private talk to tell her that she is perfect and shouldn’t be so mean to herself.

The girl smiles and goes home, leaving Sara alone to reflect. As confident as she has become, she still blames herself for hurting her siblings, and the reactions she got, and still gets, for the way she expresses herself, does leave an imprint. She supposes that she too sometimes could use having someone tell her, she was perfect.
