84: ‘Blank Space’ by Taylor Swift

For Will, it was a one night stand. He doesn’t even know her name.

Her name is Taylor and she does not agree with his assessment of the situation. She finds him again and wants to continue the relationship.

Will actually doesn’t mind that. Taylor seems absolutely magical and he likes spending time with her. She seems to read him perfectly.

Now knowing her name, he does hear some stuff about exes calling her insane, which she admits. Her relationships tend to either be forever or go down in flames. It’s up to Will to figure out if she is worth it – and that he thinks. She is the perfect girl.

Well, she seems perfect. What he doesn’t know, is that this perfection is a calculated move on her part. After a month, the bliss is gone. Suddenly his perfect girl is crying and screaming. She is jealous and constantly checking up on him and every girl he talks with.

He gets enough of this and leaves – but then she is sweet again and he comes back to her, only for the whole thing to repeat again and again.

Taylor knew it was going to become that. That is how she knows, it’s real love. And hey, she did warn him.

81: ‘I’m a Lady’ by Meghan Trainor

Finally, it has happened. Sara is over her break-up. She has her confidence back and she can instil it in her students.

She teaches young girls to dance. But more than that she teaches them to believe in themselves and stand out from the crowd. She calls this being a lady – and leads by example.

And yes, this should have been up yesterday. I wish I could give you a better excuse than ‘busy’, but that would be a long explanation.

77: ‘A Little Bit Stronger’ by Sara Evans

Declaring that you’re going to change, and actually changing are very different beasts. So Sara soon learned.

She had kicked out her lover and sent him home to his wife. Decided to find confidence within herself. In reality, the love she felt for him has left her nearly unable to leave her bed and imitate being okay. Songs remind her of him and bring her to tears.

But she is getting stronger, little by little. As time passes she gets better at simply turning off the radio when the songs come on.

She doesn’t cry anymore. Her heart is still badly wounded and it will never fully heal, but she is stronger without him and getting stronger every day.

74: ‘God is a DJ’ by P!nk

A woman is crawling out of bed. She has just kicked out her lover, telling him to go home to his wife. She looks at herself in the mirror and reflects on who she has become. So ready to believe empty promises and give up everything.

She has to turn a new leaf. Or rather an old leave. She decides to become, who she once was; an outcast, who treated life as a party, spoke her mind, was at ease with her lot in life and didn’t care what people thought.

72: ‘Irreplaceable’Beyonce

Relationships are difficult, and money cannot stop trouble from occurring.

In the relationship of Nicki and Chainz, it came in the form of cheating. Nicky sees Chainz drive around with another woman and kicks him out, making sure to take everything that legally belongs to her, including his car.  Chainz becomes angry and shouts at her that she’ll never find someone like him. Nicki laughs this off and says, she already has.

57: ‘Up & Up’ by Coldplay

Steven earns his wealth from owning orange farms.
He worked towards this dream for years working meal to meal.
Natasha supported  and helped him – most of the time. There was in fact a period in which they were broken up – and it actually broke Steven’s heart. They got back together and healed. They lived trough hardship, seeing each sunrise as a gift.

No links, still more than 25 words and still no computer. But even if mine doesn’t come home by next week, next post will be written on a computer.

Like, follow, all that, if you want.

39: ‘What You’re Made Of’ by Lucie Silvas

Pink and Grey Eyes have been together for years now – and Grey Eyes is no longer happy with it being a secret. She wants more. And she has met a man, who might be able to give her that, even if Pink is the one for her.

Pink doesn’t take that well. She takes it to mean, that Grey Eyes isn’t in love with her.

She knew, this would happen. At some point, they would hit the point of no return and Grey Eyes would no longer be able to live with not being an official part of Pink’s life. They can’t go on like this and it won’t be too difficult to detach their lives because they don’t share anything but emotion.

Grey Eyes disagrees. She insists, she is in love and that this was not inevitable and they can go on – Pink just needs to give her more than the occasional secret date with no actual attachment being made. She wants them to share things, a life, anything.

Pink argues, that it makes no difference, who is right or wrong. She deserves that Grey Eyes commits to keeping the secret, being more careful and not risking Pink getting revealed. This is the only thing, she wants, and if Grey Eyes can’t give her that, she’s not what Pink is looking for.

However much Grey Eyes is willing to give more in the ways of becoming an official couple instead of a secret one, she can’t . And since there’s no way, Grey Eyes will change, they have to break up. Grey Eyes isn’t in love – and that’s alright.

Grey Eyes continues to insist, that she is in love, but it means nothing to Pink. She instead expresses her doubt, that Grey Eyes ever put her heart into anything, because it really can’t be too much to ask for, that Grey Eyes puts as much into this as Pink has!

But Pink doesn’t really blame her for anything. She chose the waters, she’s in. She will either sink into despair or be alright after the breakup, but she chose it herself.

She says following to Grey Eyes for her to consider: ”What’s your definition of the one? What do you really want him to become? No matter what I sacrifice it’s still never enough.”

So they break up. When Grey Eyes leaves, Pink knows in her heart, that she will fall into despair, but hopefully be alright later.
