Harmony and Ink are talking about the future of their relationship. They talk about the potential of getting married.
Harmony remarks on how everyone would gossip endlessly about her past as a ”whore”, as they would call it.
Ink reassure her by telling her, how he would deal with it by acting it out for her: ”Well imagine, as I’m pacing the pews in a church corridor, and I can’t help but hear an exchanging of words: ‘What a beautiful wedding!’ says a bridesmaid to a waiter, ‘Yes, but what a shame the poor groom’s bride is a whore.’. I chime in with a ‘Haven’t you people ever heard of closing the goddamn door?!’ ”
His point is that he wouldn’t listen. Having settled that, Ink concludes rationally that they have avoided any problems, they might have had and proposes to Harmony. She happily says yes. They celebrate with champagne.
